Automatic Weight Loss and Healthy Living
We are too focused to "go on a diet" and lose track what this is really supposed to mean: to live a healthy life by using wholesome food. Using the right foods is one very important aspect in healthy weight loss, but you may have tried different diets and even some "healthy" diets and failed. To reach an equilibrium for your weight, your diet has to be consider many aspects to create long-term success:
- Using healthy foods that you like. You probably already know that you need to avoid consuming empty calories and processed foods but there is a whole world out there of nutritious food choices that you may not have considered before. So far, we know of about 50 essential nutrients. Science has come a long way, but we probably have not discovered all the nutrients the human body needs. Additionally, the essential
nutriens that we know of, have been shown to work synergistically. Whole foods provide provide the nutrients in the ratios that we need. - Building habits that put you on auto-pilot tailored to your life and schedule
- Considering and knowing the psychological aspects that restaurants and food manufacturers use to entice you to buy and consume certain food products. Understanding some of this can be put to excellent use to work in your favor. Have you ever seen ads just advertising apples (not apple juice)
- Education about the impact of food on prevention
- Eating in tune with your circadian rythm. The 24-hour recurring activities can be grouped into three cycles: the appropriation cycle (eating), the assimilation cycle (extraction of nutrients) and the elimination cycle (elimination cycle).
Once you figure out what works for you, your body will naturally get to its ideal weight. The goal is not just weight loss, but its fat loss and lowering your body fat percentage. Even once you know all this, a little motiviation and regular conversations with your coach will get you to where you need to be a lot faster.
